EFT; Relaxation and Meditation

I have spent 15 years personally doing yoga; meditation; mindfulness and EFT.

In my experience, I have found the benefits of yoga; breath work and meditation invaluable for a lot of my clients over the years. There are many different forms of meditation, and I utilise them relative to each individual as needed.

I have been trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which I have always found very interesting as it works along the meridian lines of the body. These points are acupressure points akin to acupuncture points. EFT is regarded as the psychological version of acupuncture. Having used acupuncture successfully for years, I find EFT something I resonate with a lot, and see great results.

EFT focuses on the belief that: The cause of negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system. Talking about stressful issues activates the fight or flight response. Tapping (EFT) switches off the fight or flight response. We can disconnect the emotional charge from the memories.

EFT can be used successfully for many circumstances, including Sport – having a mental block. Stress with Exams; Day to day life stress; phobias; Pain and others. I am happy to discuss this further if interested.

“Mantras are the way in which we can tell our story to ourselves; they are tools for effective thinking, a mental road map in times of pressure” – James Kerr
