The Main Aims of the Keto Brain Health
As the most researched diet since the 1920s, used to reduce and in some cases completely resolve epilepsy in children, the Ketogenic Diet is now gaining increasing traction in the mental and brain health space. Similar approaches to this way of eating include low carb, high fat and therapeutic carbohydrate restriction. The appropriate level of carbohydrate restriction varies according to individual needs and will be explained further at the event.
Inspire
You’ll hear from real people who have supported loved ones or followed a ketogenic diet themselves to overcome brain injuries, mental health challenges and binge eating disorders.
Reassure
Gain confidence through clear, evidence-based explanations presented in a way that is easy to understand, helping you feel informed, supported, and reassured at every stage of your journey.
Educate
Receive practical takeaways drawn from real life experiences: from common mistakes, to the benefits of using tools such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), measuring blood glucose and ketones with the Glucose Ketone Index (GKI), and how to use supplements to support this lifestyle.
By the end of Day 2, we hope you will be full of confidence and inspired that you are not alone, you have made great connections within a thriving community, learnt from some top class leaders in this space and feel truly inspired and confident with your journey ahead.
Welcome
Home
“I look at the bigger picture for you as an individual and seek to identify and work on the real root causes behind any issues. I look forward to working with you.“
How I work
I have spent decades researching a wide variety of techniques, covering healing on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and energetic.
As a former athlete, including swimming, horse riding, shooting, running, tennis, hockey and golf, I have experienced sport at high level. However through horse riding I suffered multiple traumatic brain injuries, which started me on a path of constant exploration and testing. Add to this a diagnosis of Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS); Postural Orthostactic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) I know all to well how healing is not linear.
That’s why you can be assured that I have personally tested every method that I use with clients, and continue to use them in my own daily practice. I will not use any technique that I have not already proven to be beneficial on my own health journey.
